Privacy policy
Our Money Book (“the book”) is provided by [COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS], company registration number [NUMBER], e-mail [EMAIL] (“we”). We are the controller of the personal data described below.
The short version
- Your budget, income, taxes, goals and notes are encrypted on your own devices before they leave them. We store only this unreadable data and cannot open it.
- We never ask for, or connect to, your bank.
- We do not sell data, show ads or use tracking cookies.

The free demo and the downloadable offline book store everything only in your browser; nothing is sent to us.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and database), under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Paddle.com Market Ltd (payment). Paddle is the merchant of record for your purchase and handles your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive only the transaction ID and, if you lose your licence key, use the e-mail address on the purchase to issue a new one. We store the transaction ID and a fingerprint (hash) of your licence key, never the key itself.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing, by writing to [EMAIL]. The owner can delete the book and all its data at any time on the “Us” page. You can complain to your data protection authority; in Hungary this is the NAIH (naih.hu).
Local storage on your device
The book uses your browser's storage to keep your sign-in, your book key and a copy of the book on that device, and to work offline. This is necessary for the service and is not used for tracking. Signing out of a device removes it.
Children
The book is meant for adults managing a household.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell owners inside the book.
